Wipro Consumer Care – Ventures is the venture capital arm of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting. From this fund, we invest in promising consumer startups with focus on India and South East Asia. As of now, we have invested in a number of companies which include MyGlamm, Ustraa, Gynoveda, Soulflower, The Baker’s Dozen, T.A.C.-The Ayurveda Co, LetsShave, Youvit (Indonesia), PowerGummies, OneLife Nutraceuticals. We have also invested in DSG Consumer Partners Fund IV which is a consumer focused VC fund based at Singapore.

Our focus is on companies in various sectors and sub-sectors of personal care, BPC, home care, wellness, food etc where we see innovative approaches to building brands and meeting consumer needs. We see large digital space as opportunities which can be capitalized upon.

Our thesis is to invest in as well as support our investments where possible through our deep domain knowledge. With operations in multiple countries around the globe as Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, we think we can help companies in a variety of ways. Our approach is to be a minority investor and function more like an external advisor to the company.

We started with Fund I and now we have recently launched Fund II, having a combined fund size of Rs.4500 Mn.
