WIPRO Unza (M) Sdn Bhd, Southeast Asia’s leading manufacturer of personal care products, is eyeing the halal cosmetics segment in developing markets in Asia and Africa this year.
“We are looking at venturing into new Asian and African markets this year.
“We hope to get a bigger slice of the halal market by taking advantage of the demand from Muslim consumers looking for halal cosmetics,” chief executive officer Sriram Krishnamurthy told NST Business recently.
Wipro Unza has a presence in Indonesia, Vietnam, China and the Middle East.
